Hagel volunteered to be drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam War, rejecting a draft board recommendation that he go to college instead.[19] He served in the United States Army infantry in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. As a Sergeant (E-5), he served as an infantry squad leader in the 9th Infantry Division.[20]
Hagel served in the same infantry squad as his younger brother Tom, and
they are thought to be the only American brothers to have done so
during the Vietnam War.[21] They also saved each other's lives on separate occasions.[21] Hagel received the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, two Purple Hearts, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Combat Infantryman Badge.[22]

In a swipe at the resume of Hagel..........the official added, *“This is why you don’t send a sergeant to do a secretary’s job.”
*Hey. screw you, how about don't send a commie to be President.....?

Prior to his appointment, Hagel is said to have visited the White House in 2009, and personally warned Obama that he should look out for rogue elements within the Pentagon that were leading a ‘new world order’.
This was not reported on some internet conspiracy forum, it was a leading report published shortly before Hagel’s appointment, by Bob Woodward, an award winning journalist and associate editor with The Washington Post.
According to an account that Hagel gave, he told Obama: “We are at a time where there is a new world order.”
More @ Prison Planet
Hagel has been in over his head, just like everyone else in the Obama administration since day one. Now because he is fired we are supposed to take him seriously... about anything? Hagel wasn't "purged" because of his beliefs or his actions. he was simply the most expendable guy on the cabinet since he was the least "Chicago/Choom gang".
ReplyDeleteElements in the Pentagon? Dear Lord. Could you be a little more specific? Like maybe a room number or a name on the door?
Is this the same Washington Post and Bob Woodward who somehow failed to notice anything about the Obama administration worth reporting in the past 6 years? Right. I should take them seriously too.
Then there is "Prison Planet", a notoriously unreliable source for wingnut agitprop.

DeleteIt's me, Hale. I can't log in using anything with a name. The technology is vexing me. Wordpress blames blogger. Blogger says their stuff works fine. If I couldn't post anonymous here I would be locked out completely.
