Investigators say a suspect was shot dead at a west Houston restaurant after a man eating late night dinner took action.
According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, it all happened Sunday night just around 10:45 p.m. on Bellaire Boulevard near Eldridge Parkway.
Investigators said that a disturbance occurred inside the Mien Tay Quan restaurant, which was full of customers at the time.
One of the men involved walked out to his vehicle and retrieved a handgun, deputies said. He then fired several times through the glass front door of the restaurant.
That's when one of those customers, Anthony Yet, who happens to be an investigator with the Harris County Attorney's Office, pulled out his service gun, immediately took aim and shot the suspect right then and there.
