  1. They appear to be having a wonderful time. No exhausted, shocked looks on their faces, adequate equipment, lots of smiles and no bandages to be seen.

Also, an unrelated question on ISIS/Iran/Iraq, if you please. It seems Iran has entered Iraq and is helping them and various militias fight ISIS - apparently with some good success. It doesn't look as though Iranian troops are doing most of the lifting and I'm wondering how they managed to to organize the rodeo so quickly and get the locals functioning when we threw up our hands in despair. Thoughts?

  3. Makes me think of how people in this country will be portrayed if they're finally forced to stand up.
They'll look like normal, everyday people you'd see at the range, no doubt.
I like the confed flag on his vest.

    1. Yes and the flag is one of their design, but very close, though actual Battle Flags have been used there.

  4. Anybody else notice the lack of enormous rucksacks? Nobody humping a 15 mag rack , a pack frame or a huge water load. I guess they need to go to one of them Tacticool shoot schools and learn about war fightin'. Why they can't win with them wimpy 45 lb. basic loads. Or so the internet "experts" tell me. AND even though the US Military gave Ukraine 25000 M-4 carbines I dare y'all to post a photo of any one in Ukraine using one in combat---Ray

I hadn't thought of that, but I haven't seen one yet and I check their everyday. Guess, they want something reliable. :) Thanks.

    1. They haven't shied away from their preference for Russia.

  6. It's more than a preference. If he isn't Russian, he's lobbying for a career there.

  7. And the Ukrainians have several hundred years of history to back of their mistrust and loathing Russians.
