Waco A Lesson in History: Looking Back at Waco

On February 28, 1993, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (BATF), raided the Branch Davidians Church, just outside of Waco, Texas. After a firefight lasting about 2 1/2 hours in which the Davidians continue, through 911, to have the firing cease, the BATF finally withdrew, with their tail between their legs. The body count was four dead agents and four dead Davidians (a fifth died within a few days). BATF had far more injuries than the Davidians, and they did not accomplish their mission. Disgraced because of the failure of the ill-conceived plan for the raid, the big brother, the FBI, came in and took charge of the remaining operation.

Mainstream Media began coverage within hours, and would remain for the next 51 days. However, for the most part, the news that they “gathered”, and then fed to the majority of the American people, was nothing more than a rewrite of the daily FBI Press Conference, complete with coffee and donuts.
These events happened before the Internet became readily available, so that alternate media was relegated to fax networking and sympathetic radio talk shows.

Though I arrived in Waco on the evening of March 5, my reports didn’t begin flowing until March 8.

Arrangements were made with Ken Varden, who had recently set up operation as the American Patriot Fax Network (APFN), while I continued to write under my recently established Outpost of Freedom. These reports, as well as additional information and pictures taken during and shortly thereafter, see Waco White Papers .

  1. Nothing but a slaughter by travesties of justice against a community of land livers
who, for the most part, kept to themselves and this became a crime. None of the
murders, from the top to the lowly, were prosecuted by the justice system or more
appropriately, a sick joke and a demented fraud system. One fact most are not aware of in that debacle was that the FLIR aircraft could see the water level in the Davidians big water tank. They knew it was very low after the 51 day siege and that the Davidians would have to give up soon. Thus, they attacked when they did to prevent a surrender.
This is the event that people should look to in order to see the true nature of this false gov and all the goons that work for it. I pray Hell is coming for them.

    1. I pray Hell is coming for them.

Hell, in any form will do.

  2. Personally, I think this was another one of their sadistic drills. These people were
no threat. They are using the American people as experiments and always have
been. The people are nothing but a game to them as are the elections are nothing
but entertainment. To vote is meaningless.

    1. These people were no threat.

Hell yes, they could have arrested him any morning outside the compound on his daily run.

  3. Although I feel David Koresh was a pervert and a loon, the people of the compund did not deserve the rain of crap brought down on the by the govt. This was all meant to be a smack down on militia and patriot groups. The govt was out to show folks who voiced opposition, where the bear shit in the buckwheat. The intent was to break the militias by show of force at Waco, Ruby Ridge, etc. Instead they drove a wedge between the govt and the people that will never be loosened without bloodshed.

    1. they drove a wedge between the govt and the people that will never be loosened without bloodshed.

      Well put.
