1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback

Kar Kraft number 2523, this 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 is a highly documented, expertly restored and prize-winning example.

Owner Arild Thu invested over 1,200 hours in the car’s no-expense-spared restoration, leaving no part of the car untouched. To ensure the most authentic results possible, Thu consulted with renowned Boss 429 expert Ed Meyer throughout the course of the work, which was completed in July 2013.

Before describing the extensive work that went into the restoration, it is important to point out that this car has a complete known history and is highly original, including the engine, transmission, 3.91:1 rear end, interior, glass and trim and space saver spare.

  1. What's up with that picture? The front end clearly says 1969 Mustang... Not 1970 which had fake vent louvers at the corners where the '69 outboard headlights are...
