Good men.
Two men in Decatur claim that their refusal to remove the Confederate battle flag from their vehicles has cost them their jobs.
One of the men declined to speak to AL.com news partner WHNT News 19, but Phillip Sims, who worked at Turner Industries, said he and his coworker lost their jobs this week.
Sims told the news station that the plant superintendent told him that the company liked his work, but that he had to remove his flag from the back of his truck. He ordinarily doesn't drive to work with the flag on the truck, but said he was running late on Monday and didn't have time to remove it.
"He said, 'I hate to be the one to tell you that but if you don't I'm gonna have to fire you,'" Sims told WHNT.
Sims said that the company has called him multiple times to rehire him, but only if he removes the flag. He has refused.

Yeah. Cause he's got one hell of a lawsuit against that company.
ReplyDeleteFine with me and the taxpayers aren't liable for a change.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile back at Planned Parenthood, unborn babies are being slaughtered and their various organs and body parts are being sold. There's money to be made in baby parts.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that this country is so progressive to have its' priorities straight; all the hate and harm being done by the Confederate flag (sarc)
Well, you should know that the Confederate Battle Flag is responsible for the slaughter..... :)
