Sanders Steps In It, Declares White People ‘Don’t Know What It’s Like To Be Poor’

Via comment by Quartermain on "Trump Nation Sick ‘N Tired of Racial Sadomasochism..."

“When you’re white you don’t know what it’s like to be living in a ghetto. You don’t know what it’s like to be poor,” he said.

  1. Hillary is corrupted but Bernie is an out and out lunatic. I grew up in a house with no indoor plumbing except for a pitcher pump at the sink and any hot water was done with a canner on the stove. The bathroom was an outhouse and in the winter it was a challenge in Minnesota. Still we kids never thought we were poor or ghetto'd as that was just the way life was and others were worse off for a longer time. Bernie is just another snowflake.

      I am sure.

  2. Let me guess, according to Bernie, the great depression never happened. The Dust Bowl never happened.

Again, if you want to avoid poverty do the following to improve your odds: First finish High School. Get a job, any job and keep it till you have a better one lined up. Lastly do NOT have children outside of marriage. One last thing too, stay out of credit card debt. If you have more bills than money to pay them, then you are doing it wrong.

Not only is Bernie an out and out lunatic, in addition, he is a total loser who failed at every thing he has done in his poor excuse of a life except for being an envious hater. Hillary is one of the most evil women in history. She is a monster

      No argument here.

Same here. I truly never knew for years how 'poor' we were in relation to the 'ordinary', because practically everybody I lived around ( black and white ) were on the same financial level as we were, more or less. It finally dawned on me sometime in my early 50's, after holding different jobs that took me into some of the homes and families of the richest to the poorest in Alabama, just how 'deprived' we really were. I imagine it took that long because we were never really 'deprived' to the extent society says we were/are. Being without some of the things that are deemed 'normal' means learning to do without, make do, or make it yourself if need be. Because of that, I'll never be without the ability ( as long as my mind and body are able ) to practically do or make just about anything I need to, if the materials and equipment are available. Plus, having lived a good part of my life without a lot of the 'normal' things, I know what that's like already, so, if need be, I can do it again. I'll admit, I like air-conditioning, gas heating, and indoor toilets, but they are conveniences, not necessities of life.

Looking around at the world today, and the shape our society is in, I was raised RICH!

I was taught HOW TO LIVE when I was growing up, not HOW TO PLAY. Makes all the difference in the world.

If Mr. Sanders had been taught that, he would know that being poor is an attitude, not a way of life.

Same here, it's not fun living without A/C in Vietnam, but you do get somewhat used to not having it. As far as taking a bath with a scoop and a barrel of water, that's just fine with me. I do like to sit on a toilet, but squatting wherever accomplishes the same thing. Good post and thanks.
