An Israeli company credited with building the defense barrier that crowns the Gaza Strip has signaled its interest in helping construct a controversial border wall proposed by US Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, according to a report published by Bloomberg News Tuesday.
Sa'ar Koursh, owner of Magal Security Systems Ltd., told
Bloomberg in an interview last month that his expertise in constructing
security barriers in Israel and across the globe could help bring the
candidate's proposal into reality.

Nice of them to offer, but there is nothing especially high tech about concrete wall construction. I'm sure we could round up a few hundred American companies with the skills, labor, and equipment required.
ReplyDeleteAn older article said a Mexican concrete company was the biggest in the Americas and thought it would get the job, but forget that.
DeleteI don't see that it matters where we buy the concrete. Most construction companies in the USA use high numbers of immigrant laborers.
Deleteas they send so much back, but there should be more money staying in the states than if a Mexican company was chosen.
DeleteWe should take it as a 'free' subsidy, as much welfare as we give them EVERY YEAR.
ReplyDeleteGod point.
