Assange: Clinton did herself in, not WikiLeaks

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange said it was Hillary Clinton's "own words" that sunk her run for the presidency, not WikiLeaks' decision to publish them.

"What is the allegation here exactly?" Assange asked in response to a question in an interview with the Italian newspaper la Repubblica about whether he had done a "hit job" on Clinton. "We published what the Democratic National Committee, John Podesta, Hillary Clinton's campaign manager, and Hillary Clinton herself were saying about their own campaign, which the American people read and were very interested to read, and assessed the elements and characters, and then they made a decision," Assange said. "That decision was based on Hillary Clinton's own words, her campaign manager's own words. That's democracy."

  1. He's doing what the MSM should be doing and I agree that she pretty much did herself in. The truth is the truth no matter the source. The people need to know about all the skeletons in the closet so that we can make an informed decision on who governs us..............

  2. Hillary's initial reaction to the news that she had lost the election was all the proof and confirmation that voting for Trump was the correct choice. The sole reason why Hillary lost the election was that Hillary is who she is. Hillary never was, is not, and never will be a leader. All of us will have our heart breaking defeats in our lives. How you handle defeat shows the content of your character. When Picket's ill fated assault on the Union line at Gettysburg failed, Gen Lee stood in front of his men and took full responsibility for what went wrong. In contrast, Hillary has never responsibility for her actions. All this nonsense about "fake news" and the Russians did it, is meant to divert attention away for the truth that when the American public got to see who and want she really is, they made their view known by voting for Trump. She is still living in a state of denial.
