Militants allied with Islamic State execute Filipinos who could not recite prayers

Via Billy

Philippine marines walk to the frontline in the continuing assaults to retake control of some areas of Marawi.

Extremists allied with Islamic State are believed to have executed Filipinos in a besieged southern city of the Philippines because they could not cite Islamic prayers, as the death toll from six days of fighting rose to 100, with dozens wounded.

The bodies of eight men, most of them shot in the head with their hands tied behind their backs, have been found on the outskirts of Marawi, 830 kilometres south of Manila.

  1. Someone posted how the "war on drugs" there is really a "war on Islam". That's very interesting since the Muslim population isn't large; at least it isn't yet.

It might be against freedom or whatever, but Filipinos should consider ejecting whatever islands are Muslim. Or just ejecting the Muslims. Living in a perpetual religious war seems unpleasant to me...
