The Division leadership and the PAC committee are calling for an EMERGENCY “Heritage Day” at the North Carolina Legislature this Friday, August 18, 2017. PLEASE GET THE WORD OUT.

We will meet in front of the legislature (Jones Street entrance) at 9:30 AM. The group in attendance will visit representatives and senators and discuss the Governor’s call for the removal of state monuments. Park wherever you can find a space.

The address is: 16 West Jones Street, Raleigh, NC 27601

I know this is very short notice, however, the legislature will be in session and we need to act to take the temperature of our political leaders. The situation is not allowing us the luxury of time.

Some of you are angry and want to act…here is a chance to do something.

Email ncsvpublicaffairs@gmail.com to RSVP. We need a headcount to make sure our efforts are not in vain. Those of us who are organizing the event are sacrificing our work day to make this happen because it is our duty.

Thank you in advance for your support.
