NFL will cut breast cancer, military charity funds to pay for players’ $89 million social justice activism

Via Billy

Capitulating to the antics of players disrespecting the national anthem, the National Football League agreed to donate nearly $90 million over the next 7 years to support left-of-center social justice causes.

If that act alone isn’t enough to raise eyebrows, where the NFL is reportedly planning to get the money certainly will.

According to one of the athletes at the forefront of the protests, San Francisco 49ers safety Eric Reid [#35 in the photograph below above], the windfall will come at the expense of the league’s planned financial support for breast cancer and military charities.

  1. Well they won't be spending any of my families money. We have a list of advertisers for the nfl, and we are not patronizing any of them. We are only one family, but we do what we can.

  2. The NFL thinks they are going to around in 7 years?

  3. "Social Causes" equals "Anti-Police" organizations getting the money. The NFL should be pouring monies into Veterans and Law Enforcement organizations.
Then the monies could be used for some good.

  4. When I was a kid living in Maryland I followed the Baltimore Colts. In that era professional football was more like semi-pro is today; the players all had jobs in addition to playing football. That's the direction the NFL is going. It's like they are going out of the way to piss off their supporters. The players are going to be rudely awakened when they no longer are offered millions of dollars to play football.

I'll be grinning ear to ear.
