The Art of the Choke

The White House immigration outline was released today and it's not good. It could change tomorrow, for all we know, but as it stands now, this is a preemptive surrender on several issues.

The enforcement component is fine, as far as it goes – there's no E-Verify, but the White House decided months ago not to push that, thinking it would be a bridge too far for Democrats, since it impacts illegals who are already here.

But the amnesty and chain migration components are fatally flawed. The fact that the amnesty would include a path to citizenship (i.e., the beneficiaries would eventually get green cards like regular immigrants) is fine with me – if you're going to amnesty illegal aliens, just rip off the band-aid and get it over with.

  1. It's a trap.

If the Demos go for it, they lose their base.

An end to chain migration and the visa lottery is a Brooklyn Bridge too far. Trump is doing to Chuckie and the Dick from IL what Hitler did to Chamberlain.

      More power to him.

  2. One thing I have learned about President Trump over the last year. I do not believe anything until it happens. How many stories over the last year have been identical to this. Oh, woe is us, President Trump has caved and whatever catastrophe the democrats want is happening. The list of headlines where President Trump surrenders or caves is lengthy. And surprisingly every one of them has President Trump violating a core policy. Think back I am sure you will remember a few, I do. I believe these are fake stories, attempting to drive support from the President. The democrats and press are still playing checkers, while President Trump is playing chess, and is four moves ahead of them.

For all the press and democrats painting President Trump as stupid or simple, he is anything but. He is far too smart. The President knows, if he violates, his immigration stance, his presidency is over. These stories are nothing but “Never Trumpers” trying to wedge away support for the President.

And for further clarification look at the author of “The Art of the Choke,” Mark Krikorian. This is what Mr. Krikorian had to say in 2016, when Donald Trump was running.

"Donald Trump is unfit to be president," writes Mark Krikorian of the conservative Center for Immigration Studies at National Review's blog, the Corner.

“He’s a braggart and a liar. And a serial adulterer. He’s behaved shamefully during the primary campaign. He wouldn’t recognize the Constitution if he tripped over it in the street. He doesn’t know even the Cliff Notes version of any policy issue. The idea that the party of Lincoln and Reagan, Coolidge and Eisenhower, Justice Harlan and Senator Taft has nominated Trump is appalling.”

@POTUS @realDonaldTrump is Reverse Negotiating! He knows DACA (expires 3/6/18), Immigration & Border Wall deal is D.O.A in congress and Democrats will get blamed. Trump will gain popularity! The Democrats are imploding and Trump isn't getting in their way, he is helping. Smart!

    2. Thanks. In this book:
      https://archive.org/details/WhichWayWesternMan1978WilliamGayleySimpson

Towards the bottom of the book is a section on the
American Civil War, Part C, Section 25
The war was planned in advance in London in 1857.
Totally manipulated by the money scum. Really sad.
We, as a White race, didn't have a chance and
      still don't.
