What are we to do?
Children have been murdered. Now children tell us something must be done! What?
Something! Are we to stop all murders? Murder is already illegal? But we must keep the children safe? The children are telling us: Something must be done!
I read a story once about the building of a local playground. At a meeting parents worried about falling. Finally, one parent said he was more worried about his child getting across the street than falling in the playground. The others, now awake, agreed to build the playground.
More people die from automobile accidents than die from homicide by guns. What are we to do?
Transportation-related accidents in the U.S. accounted for 37,461 deaths in 2016; about three times more than died by gun-related homicide. Maybe we should restrict getting a driver’s license to those 21 or older; make the speed limit 35 mph on all roads?
Child pornographers use cameras in their activities. Should we require licenses and restrictions on cameras?
More people die from falls than from guns. Should we make climbing stairs or even just standing up illegal.

ReplyDeleteI would like to know who is FUNDING all these so-called “Student Rallies?” They are professionally organized, sophisticated deals with EXPENSIVE, professionally made banners and posters, etc………these well-meaning kids are being manipulated by George Soros and the Liberal Media, Liberal Anti-gunners and gun-haters to destroy our country.
But even the kids are hypocrites……..more people die at the hands of texting teenage drivers than guns but nobody marches to have them give up their cars, cell phones or their ultra-violent video games…………..And Hollywood and their Liberal actors, producers and owners are the biggest hypocrites of all……protesting about guns out of one side of their mouth while raking in millions in profits from their ultra-violent, ultra-bloody movies that glorify gun violence.

Delete"March for Our Lives" is a company incorporated in Delaware. Its six directors are in Los Angeles. They are all liberal activists. The mailing address for donations is Ventura, CA. They also solicit donations for "Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund" which is located in New York and is a front for billionaire Michael Bloomberg, the former Mayor of New York City.
Delete$500,000 donations were made by George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, Stephen Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg. Buses were sponsored by Jennifer Lopez, Jimmy Fallon and Lady Gaga.
"March for Our Lives" has a merchandizing organization that sold buttons, flags, wristbands, etc., at all march locations.
So the whole thing was organized by political activists and organizers. It was not a grassroots event driven by grieving students.

With the willing participation of the media, the plan is to whip up widespread emotions that are anti gun & to force the eventual removal of the 2nd amendment.
