In the aftermath of the Kanye West dust-up, my heart goes out to the white people who control the Democratic Party. My pity stems from the hip-hop megastar's November announcement to his packed concert audience that he did not vote in the presidential election but if he had, he would have voted for Donald Trump. Then, on April 21, West took to his Twitter account, which has 28 million followers, to announce, "I love the way Candace Owens thinks." Owens is Turning Point USA's director of urban engagement and has said that former President Barack Obama caused "damage" to race relations in the United States during his two terms in office.

ReplyDeleteAnyone else remember when California was actually 'in play' between political parties? Well that was until Reagan and part of the GOP was just certain that if they handed out citizenship, 'amnesty', as a political bribe it would get Hispanics to change the voting habits and look how that turned out. They still vote over 70% for democrat candidates and worse, we now have even more in the GOP pandering to them with more socialist policies and promises.
The problem with all this still remains that as the country has moved away from it's traditional European heritage so have it's representatives, thereby it's laws, and also the culture. So when you are tempted towards self delusion in efforts to assuage your 'White guilt' it would behoove reasoned individuals, for the sake of their posterity, to learn a few lessons from history to avoid repeating previous mistakes.
Y'all have a nice day.
