Bill Maher 8/17/18 slams liberal opponents of free speech:‘I don’t like Alex Jones - gets to speak’

  1. My mother taught me a very important lesson when I was about 5 or 6. It's simple and a common sense lesson ages old: "Sticks and stones may break your bones, but names will never hurt you." Bill Maher is touting the typical Liberal line despite sounding "let's be fair to everyone". That is pure undeniable hypocritical bullshit! He HATES America, the constitution and President Trump and can't mask it behind pathetic bleats. My humble advice: DO NOT engage or even participate in Social media. If all the Conservatives left then the Liberals will destroy themselves in a posting feeding frenzy. Their hate will only consume them.

  2. Well good for him! He's taking a classically liberal position there in contrast to many so called "liberals" today who are actually fascists and authoritarians, especially on this issue. They need to learn from one of their political icons, back when liberals were--liberal:

“We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.” –John F. Kennedy, Feb. 26, 1962

  3. Yes, even back then, he was quoted as saying, "sometimes party loyalty asks too much" and was very pro 2nd Amendment too. Another quote on foreign policy went something like this: "I do not say America First if, or America First when, but America First period." He instituted Constitutional money with his executive order to the Treasury Dept in June of 1963 to issue $5 Billion in " United States Notes" backed by silver which, if continued, would've put the Federal Reservebout of business in the U. S. He pushed through an across the board tax cut which he pointed out would increase job growth and spur the economy. JFK would be disavowed by today's left wing authoritarians. I think the evidence is that the "deep state", CIA along with LBJ had him assassinated using Lee Harvey Oswald as the stooge fall guy. --Ron W
