A student union group has been roundly condemned after mounting an extraordinary defence of Stalin's notorious gulags.
Over
one million people died in the infamous worker camps in the Communist
Soviet Union, while other critics of the regime were imprisoned there
for years and forced to work to the edge of exhaustion.
But
hard-left activists at Goldsmiths university tweeted a defence of the
gulags - claiming they helped rehabilitate workers and were nicer than
Western prisons.
They claimed that inmates were actually treated well and allowed to join theatre groups and write for prison newspapers.

Deleteand yet more evidence of the far lefts(euphemism for what ever is to the left of socialism is-Mafia?) is totally committed to George Orwell's precepts espoused in his novel "1984". If you burn enough books, kill enough intellectuals, bribe enough politicians, convince enough people to say black is white whether or not they believe it; one can rule with impunity and without limits.
ReplyDeleteas humorless any conversation of NAZI ideals is, the left-as distinct from liberals-refuses to admit that part of the term NAZI is the word Socialist. the young but misguided people who consider ANTIFA to be the ultimate political statement of our time do not seem to understand the actual definition of fascism as they are wont to use it. People screaming racism at everyone confuse racism with prejudice. Homo sapiens are/were racist towards Neanderthals obviously because we are homo sapiens now instead of neanderthals. that is racism. Prefering vanilla icecream to orange sherbet is a prejudice. there is a difference. the left and many others think the word racist is more heinous sounding than prejudice, but i think it is because it is easier to spell for all those protest signs we see.
but i digress. read from those published accounts of those who survived the gulags " rehabilitation" and think what garbage those "students" have been taught by their "teachers".

I see their response is to shout racist and wave their misspelled signs at me while throwing a chair thru my living room window while beating my children with bicycle chains.
