Lt. Gov.’s Worst Fears Come True as Accuser Brings in Christine Ford’s Legal Team: Report

The Democratic Party in Virginia isn’t doing well — and that’s an understatement.

First, there’s Democratic Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, who is being pressured to resign after a photo from his medical school yearbook surfaced that appears to show Northam as a young adult posing in either blackface or a white Ku Klux Klan hood.

Northam initially apologized for the photo: “I am deeply sorry for the decision I made to appear as I did in this photo and for the hurt that decision caused then and now.” Now, he’s claiming that he’s “not either of the people in that photograph.”

If Northam were to resign, he would presumably be replaced by Democratic Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax.
