Americans’ View of the Current Economy Is the Highest in 19 Years

U.S. consumer confidence declined in August by less than forecast as Americans’ assessment of current conditions climbed to the highest level in almost 19 years, helped by a job market that remains robust.

  1. Hell, I'll 'estimate' unemployment, next month, at 40% and then when the 'actual' estimate comes in at 4% it will be cause even an even more upbeat 'estimate' of consumer confidence.

    Then if we could combine my 'estimate' of GDP at negative 50% and then the 'real' estimate comes in at 2% the Fed can 'print' more money add to the trillion dollar deficit, the 22 trillion dollar debt, buy a round of drinks for the country to celebrate and 'add' to the GDP number to boot!!!

    Who knew I was a flippin prognosticating genius?

  2. There are a lot of really dumb CNN viewers who still think that Obama made this. We are talking KOOLAIDE, FREE GRAPE FLAVORED KOOLAIDE, served in a Red Solo Cup. They REALLY haven't got a clue.
