It only stands to reason Mr Brock, Jesus turned water into wine, a country boy worth his salt can turn water into wine and some mighty fine lawn mower gas... and he was a fisherman, ain't know too many country boys who don't fish.
Excellent! You hear it alleged about "the silent years" of Jesus, but a straightforward reading of Scripture records that Jesus was at first disdained because He very well known as the carpenter, just an old "country boy" we all know, Mark 6:1-3:"And He went out from thence and came into His own country, and His disciples followed Him.And when the Sabbath day had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “From whence hath this man these things? And what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James and Joses, and of Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?” And they were offended at Him."I've often asked, when God came to Planet Earth as one of us, what did He spend most of His time doing? Well, at least 18 years (from the time He was twelve and apprenticed to Joseph's profession), being a common man carpenter and family man totally immersing Himself in our humanity! --Ron W
being a common man carpenter and family man totally immersing Himself in our humanity!Indeed so.
And Jesus often "got in trouble" with the religious leaders. --Ron W
