Karen Pendleton, one of the original Mouseketeers on “The Mickey Mouse Club,” passed away Sunday after suffering from a heart attack. She was 73 years old.
Pendleton was one of the nine children who appeared during the show’s entire original run from 1955 to 1959.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the child actress was born on Aug. 1, 1946, in Glendale, California.

DeleteI guess Ken and Roy have long since passed on. I always watched it every weekday afternoon. I was probably about the age of the very youngest mouseketeers. I think one of them was Cubby, but I can't recall the girl's name. Maybe someone can refresh my memory. --Ron W :-)

DeleteI think the picture of the original Mouseketeers today answers my question. Cubby and Karen were apparently the two youngest and Karen was five years older than me! Well, I ended up marrying an older woman anyway....LOL! --Ron W
