A slip store in Gonzales has posted on their front doorway they accept many credit cards, including a EBT card. That’s a Electronic Benefits Transfer card.

Kiss My Lingerie, in Gonzales, Louisiana, sells adult specialty items. The store changed into a Magnolia Shopping Center on South Burnside Avenue a few years ago. But usurpation a EBT remuneration is something that happened 8 months ago, according to a owner.

With the Battle of Passchendaele raging around him, Sergeant Percy Buck - dying from a fatal wound - clutched a picture of his family.

On the back, he had written his dying wish, that someone would return it to his wife.
He would have hoped one of his comrades would fulfil the request, it can't have crossed his mind that it would be honoured by an enemy - let alone the one who had killed him.

However, this is the incredible story that has come to light now the soldier's grandaughter has unearthed the photograph among her father's belongings.

Christina Reynolds, 58, has uncovered the black and white photo almost 100 years after it was taken. It pictures the soldier with his wife, Bertha, and son - Mrs Reynolds's father - Cyril.

A rare, defective Civil War gun with Hoosier ties is up for auction this week.

Appraisers don't know who used it in the war and won't say who's selling it.

Just about the only thing about the weapon that isn't shrouded in mystery is that it will sell — and for a lot of money, at that.

"I've done gun shows from Baltimore to Las Vegas, almost 50 years," said Ed Higginbotham, 84, who was asked by an appraiser to help evaluate the weapon. "I've seen virtually everything you could imagine — but I've never seen a Morse carbine."

NC: Police shoot man dead after killing parents, officer and K-9

A long and complex manhunt for a man police say shot and killed his mother, father and a U.S. Forestry Service officer ended with the suspect’s death.

Police first went to the parents’ home in the 5500 block of Fish Hatchery Road around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday for a welfare check. Friends told police they hadn’t seen Levi and Rhonda Whisnant since last Friday.

Sheriff Steve Whisenant says it appears they died at least a day ago.

The discovery of the homicides was just beginning of a wild series incidents in the search for the suspect.

The sheriff’s office quickly named the victims’ son, 38-year-old Troy Whisnant, as a person of interest.  The case trickled into a North Carolina Highway Patrol investigation when troopers arrived on scene to assist. The highway patrol suspected Whisnant was also behind two recent vehicle thefts.

A hunter in North Carolina has solved has food bill for the next year after tracking and killing a mammoth wild boar weighing in at over 500 pounds.

Veteran hunter Jett Webb, of Conetoe, bagged the beast last month using his .308 caliber rifle after baiting the animal for over a month.

'It was very surreal,' Webb told WSPA. 'It was a shock. It was very humbling to say the least, when you walk up on a beast that big and you say, "Oh my gosh. I had no idea that there could be something that big running around the woods of Eastern North Carolina.'"

Lindsey Graham Only Likes Gov’t Spying When It’s Not Used on Him

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is very upset about government surveillance. Yes, that Lindsey Graham. Wait, what? Here’s the catch, because you knew there had to be one: He’s only upset about government surveillance techniques when they are allegedly utilized on his own staffers.

In response to accusations that the Central Intelligence Agency has snooped on Senate computers, Graham went bonkers, telling reporters on Tuesday that “Heads should roll, people should go to jail if it’s true.”

And in typical Lindsey Graham fashion, he found a new kind of war he can get down with: “If it is, the legislative branch should declare war on the CIA.”

“This is Richard Nixon stuff,” he added. “This is dangerous to the democracy.”

Graham’s comments come in addition to his Senate colleagues John McCain (R-AZ) and Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), both ardent defenders of current surveillance operations who somehow find it appalling the government would dare spy on them.

Newly released videos show Muslims conducting “ritual human sacrifices” by slitting the throats of their victims or putting a bullet in their heads, according to researcher Walid Shoebat, a former member of the Palestine Liberation Organization who converted to Christianity.

Shoebat’s report includes several videos of ritual sacrifices. He noted the speaker in one video uses the term Qurban just before gunfire erupts and men lined up in a row fall to the floor one by one. Shoebat explained that the Arabic term “can only signify a sacrifice, which indicates that the filmed slaughter is nothing but a ritual human sacrifice.”

Another video shows the throat of the “sacrifice” being slit with a knife.
