Louis Farrakhan: ‘Black Soldiers in the U.S. Armed Forces’ - ‘Come Home, Unite and Fight’

In addition to claiming that “many Israelis and Zionist Jews” played key roles in the Sept. 11 attacks, the Minister Louis Farrakhan also recently issued a call for “black soldiers in the U.S. Armed Forces to come home, unite and fight for [their] own lives,” according to a tweet and video lecture distributed on Wednesday by the Nation of Islam leader.

“We believe that local government, state government and federal government should always be on the side of truth and justice where the citizenry is concerned, no matter what the color,” Farrakhan said in a video posted to his Facebook page.

But he went on to discuss Michael Brown, Tamir Rice and Eric Garner, among others, who died at the hands of police officers, holding their killings up as evidence that there is inequality when it comes to the treatment of black citizens.

Dave Brat on GOP Appeasement: ‘No Upper Bound’ on Obama Exec Authority

On Tuesday, before the House passed a “clean” Homeland Security funding bill, Rep. Dave Brat (R-VA) warned that there will be “no upper bound” on President Barack Obama’s executive authority if House Republicans caved on a bill that does not defund Obama’s executive amnesty.

Brat, who is fast becoming the conscience of conservatives in the House, accused Republicans of appeasing Obama on domestic issues just like Obama has been appeasing and emboldening some of America’s foreign policy enemies on the global stage.

In an appearance on The John Fredericks Show in Virginia, Brat put the executive amnesty debate into proper constitutional perspective and noted that the truth “came out like a stick of dynamite last night” when White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest revealed that Obama is now “strongly considering” raising some corporate taxes via executive action. Brat said that if Obama is “strongly considering” doing that, “that means there’s no upper bound on the President’s authority” if Congress caves on his executive amnesty.

These are legitimate questions in an era in which we have an unpopular progressive Democratic president who has boasted that he can govern without Congress by using his phone and his pen, and a mostly newly elected largely conservative Republican Congress with its own ideas about big government.

These are not hypothetical questions. In 2012, President Obama signed executive orders that essentially said to about 1.7 million unlawfully present immigrants who arrived in the U.S. before their 16th birthdays and who are not yet 31 years of age that if they complied with certain conditions that he made up out of thin air they will not be deported.

Democrats may be flustered after a week of being accused of engineering an anti-science “witch hunt,” but they aren’t backing down from their investigations into the financial backing of climate-change researchers who challenge the movement’s doomsday scenarios.

U.S. Rep. Raul Grijalva of Arizona, the ranking Democrat on the House Natural Resources Committee, told National Journal earlier this week that he may have been guilty of “overreach” even as he defended his probe into the funding sources of seven professors, now known as the “Grijalva seven.”

Economy: In his weekly address, President Obama railed against Wall Street for giving "bad advice" that costs American families billions a year. OK, but what about his bad policies that have cost them far more?

The president used his precious radio time to lash out at financial advisers for mistakes he claims cost Americans $17 billion a year.

Fair enough, but if that sounds bad, we did a little number-crunching of our own recently and concluded that the hyper-regulation and poor economic incentives embodied in Obamanomics have cost the U.S. economy close to $1.7 trillion of GDP annually.

White US children will be minorities by 2020 after immigrant 'baby boom', Census reveals

White children will be outnumbered by minority kids in the United States in just five years, new Census Bureau projections reveal. 

This is the result of an ongoing trend of declining birth among white Americans and a baby boom among immigrant groups, as well as a surge in immigration. 

By the year 2020, 50.2percent of all children in the US are expected to be non-white, according to the Census. By 2044, whites will be outnumbered by minorities. 

The Census study, released this week, predicts that by year 2060, nearly 20percent of the population will be foreign born - thanks to an influx of 64million new immigrants.

TX: Amarillo Open Carry in the Snow

Open carry Texas is keeping the heat on the Texas legislature.  This time with an open carry march in Amarillo, in the snow.  More than 2,300 open carry marches have been conducted in Texas in the last 18 months.  No other social movement has been as effective in organizing and gaining followers in the last few decades.  Open carry has struck a cord with the Texas gun culture.  Many became educated as to the state of the law.  Some could not believe that they did not already have rights that are commonly in place in most of the other states.  Others could not believe that they had the legal rights that they did.  Both groups were emboldened to march and protest the current state of the law.
