I’ve found it interesting, over the years, as I have perused the internet out of curiosity to see what sites it might contain that deal with Yankee/Marxist atrocities in Missouri before and during the War of Northern Aggression, the first sites that usually pop up in search engines mostly seem to deal with Lawrence, Kansas.

Could you say there was Yankee/Marxist bias on the internet? Heavens to Abigail–who would ever have thunk it??? It seems that if you are going to discover what mayhem the Yankees committed in Missouri during and before the War, you are first going to have a bit of indoctrination as to what Quantrill is supposed to have done in Lawrence, Kansas in August of 1863.

A Vietnamese-Japanese delegation will go to Mimasaka to present in person this Petition to the Mayor

The Association of Vietnamese Organisations In Japan has been given an audience with the Mayor of Mimasaka to present their Petition asking the administration of the City to to remove the statue of Ho Chi Minh and the “Vietnam-Ho Chi Minh Space” at the museum of Mimasaka. A delegation of Vietnamese-Japanese residents and citizens will arrive in Mimasaka on the 6th of April to hand to the newly-reelected mayor of Mimasaka and the President of the City Council their petition along with those of other organisations from various commnunities around the world.

This petition on charge.org with the list of over 5,500 signatoiries with be presented by a Vietnamese refugee from Communist Vietnam who made the trip from Germany to deliver it in person to the Mayor of Mimasaka along with a similar petition addressed to the President of the City Council.

In his first on-camera interview, William Douglas Campbell told The Hill he was interviewed for about five hours in December by FBI agents from Little Rock, Ark., who were investigating whether donations to the Clintons’s charitable empire were used to influence U.S. nuclear policy during the Obama years.

BROKEN PROMISE: Trump, GOP Congress Give Planned Parenthood $500 Million In Taxpayer Funds

 

President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans broke their promise to conservative voters by including funding for Planned Parenthood, which receives approximately $500 million in taxpayer funding each year, in the omnibus bill that Trump signed into law on Friday.

Trump, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and other Republican leaders promised their voters for years that they would defund Planned Parenthood if given the chance to govern.

Now, with Republican majorities in the House and Senate and a Republican in the White House, the nation’s number one killer of unborn children will continue receiving hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer funding.

58 percent say gun ownership increases safety

 

Nearly six in 10 Americans say that gun ownership increases safety, even as a plurality of respondents support gun-control organizations, according to the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

These numbers come in advance of Saturday's march in Washington — and across the country — calling for an end to gun violence and mass shootings after the Feb. 14 shootings in Parkland, Florida.

NC School District Abandons Gun-Free Zone Dogma, Gets Armed Guards

Law enforcement and school officials in a western North Carolina county have committed to hiring armed security for every school in their district, the Charlotte Observer reported.

During a school security news conference on March 15, Henderson County leaders announced the goal to increase their school’s security in the wake of the deadly shooting last month in Parkland, Florida.

“It is my intention … to have permanently assigned, highly trained and vetted and skilled armed security personnel working in all our public schools,” said Henderson County Sheriff Charles McDonald.

This will include all 23 public schools in the western North Carolina community, located near Asheville, that currently enrolls 14,000 students.

ABSTRACT: Individuals have a prima facie right to own firearms. This right is significant in view both of the role that such ownership plays in the lives of firearms enthusiasts and of the self-defense value of firearms. Nor is this right overridden by the social harms of private gun ownership. These harms have been greatly exaggerated and are probably considerably smaller than the benefits of private gun ownership. And I argue that the harms would have to be at least several times greater than the benefits in order to render gun prohibition permissible.

Gun control supporters often assume that the acceptability of gun control laws turns on whether they increase or decrease crime rates. The notion that such laws might violate rights, independently of whether they decrease crime rates, is rarely entertained.
