Some site was offering $5K, I believe, for someone to do this.
The Confederate flag was temporarily removed from the front of the
South Carolina Statehouse on Saturday when a woman climbed the flagpole
and — despite calls by police to get down — removed the banner.
She and a man who had climbed over a four-foot wrought-iron fence to get to the flag were arrested.
The flag, which is protected by state law, was raised about 45 minutes later. Flag supporters planned a rally at the monument later on Saturday.

Take note, while watching the video I eventually realized
they had a number of supporters with them taking still
photos, additional video, along with Occupy styled
regurgitation zombies.
Also, her accomplice at the pole is revealed is easily
recognizable and memorable detail, while being arrested.
Really and she was grinning like a Cheshire cat.

There are plenty of pictures included with the article.
However, It seems no one tried to return flags to their
rightful place.
Thanks, but the article says it went back up.........?

The flagpoles were also removed in Alabama.

I was referring to the statehouse in Alabama.
DeleteThanks x2.
DeleteAt about 25 feet up a 12gauge bean bag round properly placed would have gotten her down. These people think this shits funny. Reality is a bitch.
ReplyDeleteYup and it's going to happen.
DeleteI'm guessing a white guy climbing the pole to hang the flag would have been shot dead.
ReplyDeleteWould love to have had that on video!

ReplyDeleteCall it black privilege. Too bad there wasn't a James Jackson around to give her the Elmer Ellsworth treatment. Hopefully, the State Legislators are not amused.
