So
Congress finally passed a budget. It’s a blockbuster—$1.3 trillion, or
around four thousand dollars for every man, woman, and child in the
U.S.A. Basically it is a compound made up of (a) anything Leftist
Democrats could wish for, and (b) anything that the Jeb Bush wing of the Republican Party, and that wing’s Big Business donors
(but I repeat myself), could wish for. But how about the things that
sixty-three million of us voted for in 2016, awarding the Presidency to
Donald Trump?
Border control? Enforcement of immigration law? An end to missionary wars and the World Policeman role? Economic and population policies that favor Americans rather than foreigners?
There has to be some of that in such a colossal budget, doesn’t there?
After all, Donald Trump is President, isn’t he? He signed off on this thing, doesn’t he?

Maybe the voters will finally get the idea that there is a professional political uniparty and if they keep voting for those party members the swamp will not drain. I look forward to the Russia,Russia, Russia unraveling which should catch some of these clowns and remove them from the political process. Also look forward to the changes in trade rules which will, hopefully, financially ruin some of the deep state. We won't win every battle but we had better win the war unless we prefer the company of the professional bloodsuckers.

DeleteThoughts from an interested observer and Ameriphile cousin across the pond:
ReplyDelete1. President Trump now has the money he wants for the military and a significant sum for ‘wall materials’.
2. President Trump is the Commander in Chief of the US Military.
3.The US Army has a 37,000 man strong unit of Army Engineers which, given the funds for manpower and equipment, could expand rapidly.
Add 1, 2 and 3 and examine possibilities.
Very interesting. Thanks.

This OmniBull is NOT a budget. It has a 6-month expiration date. DJT can allocate, withhold, or slow-walk that money as he sees fit. He did say he would never sign another of these dung piles. He HAS exposed our traitorous RIN0's for who they are. Remain calm.
ReplyDeleteWhile I am still a Trump supporter, this budget was disappointing. I never expected the President to win them all, not even all the big ones. To be completely honest, I’m still not 100% convinced this is as big a loss as reported. Let’s be frank, 100% of the media and 85% of the never Trump RINOS, will say and do anything to cut his populist support. So, I’m not taking everything said at face value, for now. This is a war, you never win every battle, not even every big battle.
ReplyDeleteI’m not saying this is not bad but look back at the last 18 months. Without President Trump, having instead president Hillary, or even president Jeb, what shape would America be in today? Since President Trump took office there have been many more wins than losses. This is just another loss, all we can do is get up and keep fighting, with President Trump as our General. Or we can roll over and surrender. Because right now, today, those are our only choices.

DeleteAgreed.
