The latest poll from CNN shows the top two GOP candidates surging into a tie with President Obama in hypothetical head-to-head match-ups.
According to the survey, which has a three-point margin of error, Mitt Romney leads the president 48 percent to 47 percent, and Obama leads Ron Paul 48 percent to 46 percent.
In the previous poll taken in December, Obama led both Romney and Paul 52 percent to 45 percent.
