Barack Obama waltzed to victory in California last year, trampling Mitt Romney by
21 percentage points.
For many middle class families in the Golden State, Obamacare's
chicken are coming home to roost. A few weeks back, we highlighted some
priceless quotes from
Bay Area residents
who are reassessing their views on the president's signature law. One
man said he'd been "laughing" at Republicans...until his saw his new
premiums. Another offered this pitch-perfect distillation of the
tension between feel-good liberalism and economic reality: "Of course, I
want people to have health care. I just didn't realize I would be the
one who was going to pay for it personally." The law's price
and access tremors continue to be felt up and down America's most populous state.
The
Los Angeles Times describes the "
sticker shock" middle class Californians are grappling with:
I voted for Obama and his Marxist/Socialist agenda so that I could feel good about myself, and I knew that it would only take money away from the rich, who I hate anyway since they have more money than I do. Now you're telling me that the regime I put in power is going to take my money and limit my choices? That wasn't supposed to happen!
ReplyDeletePerfect. :)
DeleteYou have enjoyed the socialist state of California. Now you can see how much socialism costs at the federal level. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep voting for the socialist Democrats. The sooner we go off the cliff the better.

Agreed! :)
DeleteThe California coastline has highly elevated levels of radiation from the Fukushima fallout. Californians will soon start showing signs of poisoning, from eating the Pacific ocean fish to breathing the air. Cancer, hair falling out, skin lesions.....a long list.
ReplyDeleteWhat sane insurance company wants to keep all of these 'high-risk' people?
NONE!
We shall see.
