  1. Now I understand this is a very partisan view but one thing shocked me. Look at pages 10 and 11 at how the senate voted. There is NOT ONE Republican with a 100% record. Yet you find 44 Democrats with a 0% voting record on the following topics. Yet hear how Republicans refuse to compromise.

    Budget Agreement
    Yellen Nomination
    Omnibus Appropriation
    Farm and Food Programs
    Debt Limit Suspension
    Child Care
    Ukraine Aid
    Unemployment Benefits Extension
    Minimum Wage
    Burwell Nomination

    Badger

PS Brock: I am not sure if you have any control or not but the Anti-Bot check. Some of the challenges are address numbers which is great. However, some are the squiggly letters which give me at least fits. There are times I try six times or more to guess the letters before I get them right. Is it possible for the challenge to use just the numbers? If not I do understand the need to cancel the Troll-Bots.

      Exactly.

      =================

I don't see a way to change it, but I am poor at best with this sort of stuff. Maybe someone more knowledgeable could show me how if it is possible. I used to not have it, but the extraneous comments drove me crazy and wasted a lot of time.

      The word-verification option

The "word verification" option can be found on the Settings | Posts and comments section in your blog.

If you choose "yes" for this setting, then people leaving comments on your blog will be required to complete a word verification step, similar to the one presented when you create a blog:

Adding this option prevents automated systems from posting comments to your blog, since it takes a human being to read the word and pass this step. If you've ever received a comment that looked like an advertisement or a random link to an unrelated site, then you've encountered comment spam. A lot of comment spam is made automatically by software which can't pass the word verification step, so enabling word verification is a good way to prevent unwanted comments.

  2. I am happy to report that my Rep, Justin Amash had the best score in Michigan at 97% -- there were a few with a 100%. He is under siege in the Primary by the RINO/Establishment Cretins. This Tuesday we vote, so stay tuned!

  4. Yes and he is my representative fortunately. He wasn't always as good, but through his relationship with Ron Paul, he became a Ron Paul Republican.

  5. The republican party establishment did every thing they could to primary Walter out of office this year but he won handily anyway. He makes me mad sometimes and I've threatened to vote against him but when I look at who runs against him I have to go back to him. He's a good man and one of the best when it comes to representing and helping the people of the NC 3rd district and the military.

Indeed he is and you can just imagine what this country would be like if every representative/Senator had his mindset.

  6. How 'bout that ! Amash should have no problem winning, but it's all about the turnout, which is usually light during a primary. That has never made sense to me why people stay home when this is the time to pick the right person, or at least the better one.
