Last week Reagan administration Secretary of Education Bill Bennett appeared on the op-ed page of the Wall Street Journal called The Conservative Case for Common Core.
That’s the fundamental idea behind a core curriculum: preserving and emphasizing what’s essential, in fields like literature and math, to a worthwhile education. It is also, by the way, a conservative idea.In the op-ed, Bennett dangles a bewildering series of non-sequiturs before the reader:
More @ Red State
So Billy shows himself to be a RINO. If he supports Common Core, that indicates to me he is a member of the enemy party and as such a part of the problem. Bill, FOAD
ReplyDelete100%. Another Useful Fool.
DeleteBe grateful that the Useful Idiot Tools on the "conservative" side show themselves for what they are in plain sight. What a load of canary droppings.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree, my dear, so we will know in advance which side our bread is buttered upon.
DeleteMethinks we better make our own bread and butter - I don't trust any of them any more.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Lets hold up in them, there mountains, girl!
Deletelet me know where & when - I make good bread ;) Plus,I am soon going to be a ferocious plucky she-devil when the situation warrants....grrrrr.....
ReplyDeleteYou can borrow my Bowie that they gave me at the Spring PATCON, but only with the guarantee that it will be returned with evidence of a Useful Idiot's blood upon it........:)
DeleteYay, rah! That's a deal ! Useful idiot blood is very thin and runny, so may need to bring the scalp as well.
ReplyDeleteGood point, I didn't think of that.........
DeleteBill was not paid to pimp he is a true elitist and only saying what he thinks. For all the positive things that can be said about Regan he was surrounded be elitists. The was too strong willed to be controlled but they worked against him behind the scenes. They made sure he could reform as little as possible.
ReplyDeleteBadger
Interesting and thanks. It's just amazing that these Useful Fools do this knowing full well what history will write of them. But, wait a minute! Lets see, what did history record of the Tyrant Lincoln.....? Oh, well.......
DeleteHe needs the money for his gambling addiction.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, he won't be long for this world or the next.
DeleteReagan came into office pledging to eliminate the Dept.of Education and appointed this man as his Secretary of Education - needless to say the DOE wasn't eliminated because the RINO elitists in his Administration convinced him there would be too much political fall-out. Who the bloody hell cares if the Lefties and Elitists hold their breath and turn purple???
ReplyDeleteNot I, said the blind man. :)
DeleteIf he really is/was a conservative, then why would he take a job with the title Czar in it, such as Education Czar? And do tell, what business is it of the Federal Government to be involved in education, or be in the student loan business? I don't see it in the Constitution. By the way, do you remember when that POS murdered those school childeren in Stockton CA? It was Billy boy who thought that a problem could be solved by a Federal pronouncement that it was to be banned. Yeah just say it is banned and the matter is solved.
