Morton Klein, President of the Zionist Organization of America on Steve Bannon:

 Bannon

"Would Trump’s extraordinary pro-Israel advisers, such as Newt Gingrich, Rudy Giuliani, Mike Pence, Mike Huckabee, Sheldon Adelson - and Orthodox Jews Jared Kushner (Trump's son-in-law), David Friedman, and Jason Greenblatt - ever allow an antisemite/Israel-hater to work with them?

Would Trump’s Orthodox Jewish daughter, Ivanka, whose children go to an Orthodox day school, ever allow an antisemite to work with her father?"

"Bannon is the opposite of an anti-Semite. Every article about Israel and the Palestinian Arabs he has published are all supportive of Israel. He’s had articles complaining about campus anti-Semitism at CUNY, and required his Breitbart reporters to call CUNY officials and Gov. Cuomo aides urging them to do something about it."

  1. Opposing Israel's conquest of Palestine isn't our top priority.

If Trump can avoid warring for Israel, then the rest doesn't matter as much.

Israel is strong; Palestine is weak. The Palestinians might suffer the same fate as others who found themselves in a weak position.

I think we're also weak, so we should focus first on our own affairs and otherwise focus on what's possible. This obsession by some with putting Palestine before every other issue is odd to me.

The Israel lobby is probably the most powerful lobby in the US. No candidate runs against Israel. It doesn't happen. And Trump has Jewish family.

If choosing between the South and Palestine, I'm sorry but I'm going with saving the South. The Israel lobby gets much of what the Israel lobby wants.

      Agreed. Just leave us alone.
