Trump calls Wisconsin recount request a ‘scam’

This is a scam by the Green Party for an election that has already been conceded,” Trump fumed, calling the recount effort “ridiculous.”

“This recount is just a way for Jill Stein, who received less than 1 percent of the vote overall and wasn’t even on the ballot in many states, to fill her coffers with money,’’ the president-elect added.

Stein’s crowdfunding campaign to raise money for election challenges had racked up $5.9 million by late Saturday — which is more than enough to pay for the Wisconsin recount, estimated at $1 million.

Election rules in Pennsylvania, which require candidates to challenge the tally at the county level by Monday, make recounts a daunting prospect there.

Wednesday is the deadline to file recount requests in Michigan.

The results in all three states would have to be overturned for Trump to lose the Electoral College vote on December 19.

  2. I thought recounts were only done if the result was under a certain percentage or a very small fixed margin or definite irregularities or voting violations were ascertained.

    1. For free, but anyone can pay for one, so right now the state recount will cost about one million, they have already collected almost 6 million with the fine print stating they may not proceed to other states, but the money will be spent wisely in combating election fraud or some such rubbish! Trump pegged it! Liberals are fools. :)

  3. It's much more than they state publicly. It's a chance for a commucrat proxy (Stein) to make a bid to delegitimize Trump further, to rabble rouse and stir up emotions of rioters. Worse, it's a chance for the commucrats to deploy assets already put in place to "find" ballots that haven't previously been counted, either swinging the state or stirring up enough media furor that the Hildoes actually try to start something.

    1. Good points and when I referred to fools it was in the context of the street soldier giving them their money.
