USAA reinstates ads on ‘Hannity’ after facing backlash from military groups

The USAA financial services firm announced Tuesday it will reinstate its advertising on Fox News host Sean Hannity’s nightly show after facing backlash from military members and veterans groups for pulling its ads last week.

USAA pulled its commercials from Hannity’s program following pressure from progressive groups for companies to remove their advertising from the conservative show host’s block after he discussed conspiracy theories on-air linking the murder of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich and WikiLeaks, in a story that Fox News was later forced to retract.

  1. I contacted USAA through my account with them last week. They gave me a BS reply which I shot down and reminded them their customers were the one's that swore an oath that had a little part that goes, "I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic". I reminded them we are under a domestic attack from Media Matters as they want to shut down 1st amendment rights to anybody who doesn't shear their politics. I don't listen to Hannity but if Media Matters had that much pull with USAA I would need to move all of my accounts and because if I closed my accounts that would also force my children to close theirs as I am the sponsor.

I found out yesterday morning USAA has resumed advertising on Hannity. Apparently this went viral within the military/USAA customers and we put enough pressure on them as customers that the socialists who threatened them was realized as less of a threat.

Assange might host Hannity. I'd actually watch some Hannity if Assange were the host.
