Midway and O'Hare somehow (I almost hesitate to mention) are named for something heroic and worthwhile....I have seen other airports get long hyphonated names added to them in the spirit of political correctness.
Failing and or has-been politicians seek to have their names placed of public infrastructure especially airports because they think it will grant them some historical immortality. Pathetic beyond description.
