Grassley: No reason to delay Kavanaugh hearing & Ford has no right to set conditions

Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) is pressing forward with a hearing scheduled for Monday after a woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct called for the FBI to investigate her claims before she testifies.

Grassley on Tuesday evening said there was "no reason" to delay the hearing. Republicans have invited both Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, his accuser, to testify publicly.

“Dr. Ford’s testimony would reflect her personal knowledge and memory of events. Nothing the FBI or any other investigator does would have any bearing on what Dr. Ford tells the committee, so there is no reason for any further delay," Grassley said.

  1. Anyone with half a brain knows what
will happen at that "hearing", regardless
that it should not be happening, especially
    without the accuser present.
It's going to be a F'ing disgrace, a one way firing range, and a public flogging similar to the scene from The Passion of the Christ, when Roman soldiers were beating the life out of Jesus.
It's gonna be a one sided, one way, slaughter, broadcasted live and in technicolor.

    1. Apparently, even if she shows or not there will be a vote on Wednesday as it should.

    2. And a no show should bring a
permanent halt to the entire proceedings.

    3. That is a good point. Don't know if the PR guys would go for this or not but we shall see.

    4. A no show demonstrates her integrity, honor, courage, and truthfulness.

She has all ready demonstrated her motives, and as we well know 35 years ago she molested little boys in public restrooms before strangling their puppies. So let's vote on the man and post her photos and address for all to see.

She is a slimeball as are all progressives.
