Border Wall on Private Land in New Mexico Reportedly Set to be Completed Despite Cease-and-Desist Order

A mayor in New Mexico issued a cease-and-desist order to a company building a border wall on private land between the United States and Mexico but the nonprofit behind the wall said the section was set to be completed on May 30.

Brian Kolfage, an Air Force veteran, raised more than $22 million to build portions of the border wall on private land. Construction work started on May 17 south of Sunland Park, New Mexico in the El Paso, Texas, metropolitan area.

  1. "New Mexico Gov. Michelle Grisham, a Democrat, said the section of the wall was inconsequential." She won't build a wall but complains when someone does. IE: democrat
