We have an out of control, Marxist government.

MSNBC correspondent Jeremy Lancaster sat down with government official Darrin Cornia to discuss recent rumors that have been in circulation in regard to registered motorcycle owners being placed on a classified FBI gang list.

Darrin Cornia who currently holds a position within the National Security Branch of the government agreed to complete transparency prior to the interview with MSNBC’s Jeremy Lancaster and did remain direct and seemingly forthright throughout his conversation with Lancaster.

After a few moments of introduction, Lancaster bluntly asked the following question,” Mr. Cornia, if I were to make the statement, all registered motorcycle owners are currently showing on a classified FBI gang list, would the statement be true or false?

Cornia responded by saying, “That would be a true statement, the FBI has been collecting and compiling Department of Motor Vehicles and Drivers License Division records for the purpose of adding those that own motorcycles to a classified gang list since 1994.

Lancaster asked Cornia to explain the reasoning behind the list which seems inappropriately broad, to Cornia answered the question with the following statement,

“It’s nothing more than collecting and utilizing data. We may not like to admit it, but the truth of the matter is that those that own and operate motorcycles are 67% more likely to be involved in illegal or criminal activity than those that do not own or operate a motorcycle.”

  1. I realize that I'm just a fool for being really surprised by this information. It's just unbelievable to me that ANY federal agency would paint so broad a brush, with something so benign a motorcycle ownership!

  2. Interesting, especially given the proliferation of motorcycle ownership among cops and firefighters. In my area the largest agency has maybe 6000 sworn officers. I know, personally or in more than just passing, about 200 or so of them. Probably half of those own motorcycles, mostly Harley Davidsons. Anecdotal at best I know but the feds just said those officers are more likely to commit crimes than non bike owning people. Nice. Of course, who knows, in some jurisdictions that might actually prove out to be correct.

    1. I sent it to one of my daughter's in-laws who has been a cop in Philadelphia for almost 20 years and is an avid rider. Took it down here for a visit once.

  3. Heh! That makes me, my daughter, father-in-law, my nephews, my brother-in-law, some cousins, and my buddies.

If you aren't on a government watchlist by now, you should be ashamed of yourself.

      Should be on many. :)

  4. I would not be surprised at all if that is the case. The motorcycle rider demonstrates behaviors that bear watching.

    1) They choose to risk their safety for something they love. We all know that in the case of vehicle collisions, the bike rider is going to lose. Lots of bodily damage. The rider knows this - but chooses risk anyway. THEY AREN'T AFRAID TO RISK IT ALL.

    2) All motorcycle riders identify themselves as a member of a fraternity, much like the LEO or military service personnel. It really doesn't matter your age, gender or reason for riding - a Hells Angel and a geriatric Grandmother will probably get along pretty well. THAT GIVES THEM SOMETHING IN COMMON - A GANG OF SORTS.

And yes, if you aren't on a watch list of sorts, you are not motivated. :^)

    1. Damn, that's good. Ought to make a poster of that.

  7. That's just stupid. Any decent intelligence analyst could tell you that having too many people on your watch list makes your watch list useless. Great watch lists have few names on them and they are prioritized so you know where to spend your resources.

They may as well just use the IRS tax rolls. Everyone who pays taxes is likely to be resentful of government spending.

      That's a given.

  8. Story is a fake. Originally appeared on "National Report" on April 1st, the site does fake news ... kinda like the onion. Then the story gained traction when a "washingtonpost.com.co" reprinted it. That site is not the real washington post.

  9. I went over to MSNBC and searched for Jeremy Lancaster - no results = red flag.
Then I google searched for Mr. JL - a few facebook results for normal people but no journalist or correspondent, and at the bottom of the search was a Snopes link. I'm normally hesitant & skeptical of Snopes for various reasons but clicked the link to see. The "news" article came from wapo.com.co - which is NOT the washington post = another red flag. Snopes says that the Watch List story originated on the fake news site National Report. The wapo.com.co home page carries a lot of the same crap found on the nationalreport.net site.
I realize that this administration is closing it's iron fist tighter each week and stories like this are easily believable, but we need to make sure that we are still performing due diligence and not going off half-cocked.
I appreciate the regular reporting / news aggregating that this site provides so a "one-off" or "we got caught by that" won't dissuade me from returning regularly. Keep up the good work.

    1. Thank you for the research and Wapo got me. I noticed something didn't quite look right, but bit the bait anyway. I'll add this to the title.
