Authorities have confirmed a complaint has been lodged alleging a
special-needs student was assaulted by another student Thursday at
George County High School.
A hospital emergency room called the sheriff's office about the incident, but since it happened on a school campus, the school resource office is leading the investigation at the present, Pierce said.
School security chief Al Hillman said any information about the incident would have to come from the district superintendent's office.
The district office could not be immediately reached for comment Friday morning.

This is just another incident in a long string of black on white attacks which sadly show that racial hatred is alive and well in this country, but people have focused on the WRONG group as being responsible. If this keeps up, the sort of virulent and malignant attitude that existed in the worst of the "Jim Crow" era will return with a vengeance and the blame, sadly, will be on the same people who demand "tolerance" and racial preferences. It is sad to remember so many good folks - white and black - who have tried so hard for racial harmony and whose efforts are being destroyed by the current attitude in the black community.
