Muslim Immigration and National Security America’s Deadly Dilemma

     In August 2004, a Maryland Transportation Authority Police officer observed that a woman dressed in Muslim garb was videotaping the support structures of the heavily trafficked 4.3-mile Chesapeake Bay Bridge. The officer conducted a routine traffic stop that led to an FBI raid several days later on the Annandale, Virginia, residence of a Muslim Brotherhood (MB) member with suspected connections to the Hamas terrorist organization. FBI agents discovered the home had a secret sub-basement that housed the archives of the Muslim Brotherhood in North America. The archives documented what the FBI had long suspected. Nearly all the Muslim-American groups in the United States were Muslim Brotherhood front organizations. The documents confirmed that the MB and its front organizations’ central objectives were to implement Islamic Law (Sharia) in the United States and further the global dominance of Islam.

     The documents captured included an “Explanatory Memorandum” on MB goals and strategies to destroy America from within. This included an immigration and infiltration plan and process called “Civilization Jihad.” These goals and strategies had been officially approved by the MB at their Shura Council and Organizational Conference in 1987.

     A key paragraph of the Explanatory Memorandum explains:

“The process of settlement is a ‘Civilization Jihadist Process’…The Ikhwan (Brotherhood) must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers (Muslims) so that it is eliminated, and Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

     In other words, in order to destroy America from within, the Brotherhood intends to deceive American leaders and the American people into believing a counterfactual understanding of Islam and the nature of the Muslim Brotherhood. Indeed, the MB has been highly successful in portraying Islam as a religion of “peace and tolerance,” whereas its real nature as expressed in the Koran, the teachings of Muhammad, and 1,400 years of history is coercion, violence, deception, fanatical vengeance, and holy war against all who resist it. In recent history, several decades of multiculturalist propaganda and political correctness have paved the way for almost willful negligence of the facts among Western leaders. Unfortunately, the MB found Presidents Clinton and G. W. Bush extraordinarily vulnerable to their propaganda and counterfactual mythology of Islam.

     President Obama is, of course, in an altogether different class, his actions having clearly demonstrated his pro-Brotherhood, pro-Islam, and anti-Christian worldview. In 2011, his Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, plainly expressed his view that the MB is “largely secular,” and “has eschewed violence and has decried Al Qaeda as a perversion of Islam.” He further proclaimed that the MB in Egypt  “…have pursued social ends, a betterment of the political order in Egypt…but there is no overarching agenda, particularly in pursuit of violence, at least internationally.” This is as astonishing a contradiction to truth as ever stated by a high-ranking American intelligence officer.  Former USAF Lt. Gen. Clapper is apparently serving in the post of Obama “Yes-man” rather than a valuable intelligence gatherer and advisor. Unfortunately, we are seeing the same lack of professional backbone over a wide range of issues among many high-ranking General and Flag officers. 

Furthermore, the Obama Administration has allowed probable Brotherhood members to sift through FBI and other intelligence and law enforcement agency reports and eliminate language that is prejudicial toward Muslims. Thus intelligence at all levels is influenced by both MB penetration and the use of language editing to control information and association. One politically correct aspect of this Obama language control is that “Islam” and “terrorist” cannot be connected. Thus our intelligence is contaminated by internal MB penetration and language control. How can we know and defeat an enemy we dare not even name?

     This raises the extremely important question of whether Congress and the American people can trust our own intelligence assessment of the situation in Syria, Iran, or anywhere else.

     During the 2012 Republican Presidential primaries, Herman Cain first stated that he would not appoint a Muslim to his Cabinet. Then after much criticism by the press,  he stated that he would appoint a Muslim who promised to support the Constitution. But Cain’s reversal raises the “Taqiyya” doctrine question. Under the Taqiyya concept in Islamic Law (Sharia), a Muslim is allowed to lie, deceive, or dissimulate in order to advance or defend Islam. It is similar to the Marxist doctrine that whatever advances Communism is the truth. The Taqiyya doctrine makes any Muslim pledge to support the Constitution unreliable in itself. American national security should require far higher standards to prevent terrorism that could cause devastating loss of life.

     In 2009, there were 115,000 Permanent Resident (Green) cards given to Muslim immigrants. Not a single question was asked of any of them about their religion. But Islam is a religion that also contains considerable violent and subversive political ideology.

     Americans face a great dilemma that could easily destroy us. We cannot allow ourselves to be blindsided by easy answers about immigrant religious freedom.  National security must be a primary consideration of immigration policy.  Immigrant religious freedom cannot risk our freedom or threaten our culture. Nor can we allow lobbyist campaign money, cheap-labor greed, or sentimentality to displace American workers and drive down their wages or to put our national security and the lives of thousands or even millions at risk.

     We have foolishly put our civilization and the very future of freedom at risk. 

It will take leaders with extraordinary wisdom and courage to undo our extreme jeopardy.
