I literally asked him if a law was passed to put Jews in the Ghettos, would you? He literally said "Now you are being silly...but if its the law, I enforce it; I don't make them."

To me THAT was the quote of the story that everyone is missing.

Yep--as if Nuremberg never happened, Peterson evidently believes that "just following orders" justifies any evil--including rounding up victims of a planned Holocaust.

    When I was in Germany as an army brat in the 60's... the Germans were still cowed by the occupation army of the US. The German people would always bow their heads when we passed. It was drilled into my head, that "they were responsible for Hitler." I never really understood what my father was talking about... but, I now understand that they VOTED FOR HIM, the allowed "it" to happen, they didn't fight it...
    We, Americans, were "different", better than them, because "it could never happen in America"...
    Well America?
    Do you understand now?
    This man should simply be hung up on a pole, crucified, and labeled as a Nazi, as a sign to all the other nazis in this country.

    Yes, they are Nazis. You forget, Nazi stood for; National SOCIALISM. It needs GOONS to succeed.

      Yes, but we must understand that all Germans were not Nazis, in fact far from it. There were virtually none in their AF and for one reason the service prohibited members from joining a political party. Dixie and I just finished listening to a Higher Call and I highly recommend it.

    In July my sister and I took my 95 year old, and thankfully still healthy, mother out for lunch. As we were headed back to our cars (yes mom still drives) we saw a Homeland Security white Yukon roll through the street. I said, "homeland security, we now live in a police state". I was surprises as my sister who tends toward the liberal side commented "yeah that's starting to bother me too". My mom retorted "WELL, I'm not worried about them because I'm not doing anything wrong!"

    I replied "Neither were the German Jews mama" ...... Silence. I think it finally hit home to her.
