NBC's Hallie Jackson reports Cruz has changed his focus to Pennsylvania and making a play for the state's unbound delegates. Jackson, the network's Cruz correspondent, said even if Cruz has a third place finish in Pennsylvania's Republican primary, he'll win more than half the delegates.

"It's very telling that's Ted Cruz tonight is not in Brooklyn or Manhattan or any of the boroughs or state. He's in Pennsylvania," reported Jackson.

"He'll be in Philly for his watch party tonight," Jackson said. "That's indicative of where he and his campaign see this race going, to Pennsylvania, where they are looking to make a play for these unbound delegates. Even if they come in a distant third, a top campaign aide tells me, they will still, they believe, pick up more than half the delegates there."

"They're looking at more than 30," Jackson said.

  2. I still don't have him on the S--- list. I think what is happening is that most all of the delegates are made up of the ruling elite at the state level...at least here in Indiana. They are probably hoping to have Cruz deny Trump the 1237 delegates he needs if they back Cruz here on out. Then after a few "unsuccessful" ballots they will choose an "outsider", neither Cruz or Trump, to fill the candidacy. After reading the April 9th piece from Politico, also posted at WND, you could see the Indiana delegation trying to pull every stunt possible to keep the elite as delegates and sandbag the "peoples" choice. This is the land of Lugar and I don't trust a single rino lifer out there whether in Indiana or elsewhere. I still prefer Trump but always keep in mind who the elite detest...and vote the opposite. Unfortunately, in the end, none of this may matter...burn, baby, burn.

    1. They must have promised Cruz something and I don't trust him a bit. That's what makes Trump attractive, he's paying his own way and can't be bought with money, at least.

    2. Quite possible, indy. Paul al-Ryani ran a couple of campaign ads, then suddenly denied that he would accept the nomination.

If the GOP does use the broken convention play, then it will be him or Prinz Jeb von Busch, or Metro Marco, or the mailman's son (Juan Kaysuck).

The dems are doing the same thing, even if their "outsider" is a literal socialist.

Either way, the racket of modern "elections" is no longer fringe stuff, but now well known by mainstream America.

One good result and why I see a viable third party in the future if the US doesn't collapse first.

  3. At the Cruz rally in Philadelphia only 22 supporters showed
up. Cruz was furious. Too funny.
