Fake Polls? How CNN And ABC Are Fudging The Numbers To Tank Trump’s Favorability

Via Billy

(ABC)

Two polls released Tuesday — one from ABC and a second from CNN — tout Donald Trump as being the most unfavorable incoming president in modern history — yet on second look, the data is clearly boosted by the pollers’ decision to oversample Democrats.

According to Gallup, 28 percent of Americans identify themselves as a Republican, while 25 percent identify as a Democrat.

Despite this information, eight more percent of participants in both the ABC and CNN polls identified as Democrats, leading to an 11 point swing in partisanship breakdown off the national average.

  1. My wife and I have discussed the inaccuracy of polls before. You can pretty much make them say anything you want. If you took a random poll of people in say San Francisco, Seattle, Washington, DC or New York City and asked how they view Donald Trump, it would lean heavily toward unfavorable. If you did the same poll in "fly over country" the results would be just the opposite. Another example is a daily phone poll that is in one of the local Pittsburgh newspapers, The Tribune Review, which is read mainly by conservatives. The results always highly favor conservative viewpoints. If the same questions were asked in the far left leaning Pittsburgh Post Gazette, the results would inevitably be the opposite. Exit polls are also misleading. Many early polls during the last election showed HRC with a large lead. In my opinion this was caused by the demographic that voted earlier in the day. Jobless millenials, welfare recipients, etc. Most conservatives tend to work for a living an don't vote until much later. If CNN polled their three viewers on any issue the results would always be 100% liberal. That's my viewpoint on the accuracy of polls................
