Kiss my ruddy, red, rectum Carpetbagger. I'm appalled that you 'teach" at RMC where I went.  Just a few minutes from I-95, so  take advantage of it northbound.

I have a hope for the New Year.

I turn to this hope during every battle over moving or removing a Confederate monument in Virginia, or renaming one of the many streets named after Jefferson Davis. I feel this hope every time I drive past another Virginia Flaggers demonstration, or when I see the Confederate battle flag hung on a truck or in a dorm window.

My hope leads me to this teensy request: Can we drop the Confederate nostalgia? Finally?

There’s no other way to put this: The American South has been on the wrong end of history for 200 years. It’s time to get over it.

  1. We cannot judge the past by today’s standards. We certainly would not condone slavery today but our forefathers were of a different century & a different mindset. Besides the Yankees bought slaves from the blacks in Africa & sold them in the South.

  2. Hi Brock,
All the Libtards and yankees always mock the south for "Slavery!!" Yet it should be noted as "Sister Anne" mentions....,"Not one Slave was ever brought to America on a "Confederate States Flagged Ship!!!" They were all brought here on "United States of America Flagged Ships!!" (Yankees!!)

  3. To Hell with the North. The South had better morals during slavery than the US has today.

I'm no slavist, but I'm no dang capitalist proletarist either.

  5. “When the South raised its sword against the Union’s Flag, it was in defense of the Union’s Constitution.”
    Confederate General John B. Gordon

Study the Confederacy as a scientist would, associate professor. Try and prove yourself wrong. You'll find that everything you know about the South is wrong.

  6. And never forget the first slave holder was black and the largest holder of slaves was also black.

In addition, every country on earth, before Lincoln, ended slavery without bloodshed. Of course we also know from history that Lincoln NEVER freed a single slave under his control and did not invade the Confederacy to end slavery.

And now that I have finished "preaching to the choir," if this dumbass doesn't like it GET THE HELL OUT!! All we every wanted was to be left alone. You know, kind of like the folks who founded the country.

The arrogance of these bastards is almost as amazing as their ignorance and both are unbecoming attributes. As I heard Mr. Limbaugh state...."a glittering jewels of colossal ignorance" and this one is wrapped in self righteousness. Anyone this well versed in political correctness has likely never had an original thought in their life and is most likely doomed to an existence of somewhere around useless idiot.

Now, if someone can fetch the tar I'll bring the feather.

I'm not sure about that, but there was one who was the largest in SC.
