With the Russian election hacking scandal having gone from the merely strange, to the bizarre, to the ironic, to the McCarthyist, and most recently, jumping the patently absurd shark - as of last night, anyone who is against Hillary is "influenced by Russia" according to a former Clinton advisor - Russia decided to have some fun at the expense of US paranoia.
On Saturday, the ministry posted the following audio file of the "new" automated telephone switchboard message for Russian embassies.
"You have reached the Russian embassy, your call is very important to us. To arrange a call from a Russian diplomat to your political opponent, press 1. To use the services of Russian hackers press 2. To request election interference, press 3 and wait until the next election campaign. Please note that all calls are recorded for quality improvement and training purposes."

ReplyDeleteTheir political situation is different from ours. Were he to fall from power, Russians might get a legitimate Communist from the Communist Party, Russia's number 2 party. As such, I see the man as great. I don't like Communism.
It's the same with Assad: Better than ISIS. And Gaddafi: He kept migrants from flooding Europe. Why do we think these men bad when they serve(d) our interests?
I haven't yet found a perfect politician who agrees with me on everything.
A great analogy is: Your son, form coke addict and drop out, just got back from rehab, got a job delivering pizza. Be happy he's working! He hasn't found a cure for cancer, no; but he's not on drugs!
Anyway, that's a great analogy to me, bc these people in power are degenerate fools. I'm just happy the world hasn't nuked itself yet.

Per Paul Craig Roberts: Russiagate is not a Trump/Putin collusion but a domestic spy job carried out by Democrats.
ReplyDeleteLaw requires Trump to arrest those responsible and to put them on trial for treason and conspiracy to overthrow the government of the United States. If Trump fears to prosecute the Obama operatives within the Deep State, they will try all the harder to attack him to the point of forcing his removal or at least discrediting him and his fellow Republicans to pave the way for the 2018 elections.
So there.
