Filed under DUH: Study: Physically Weak Men More Likely To Be Socialists

Via Billy

Surprise, surprise. [SGT Carter:)] Men who are physically weak are more likely to favor socialist policies.

An academic study from researchers at Brunel University London assessed 171 men, looking at their height, weight, overall physical strength and bicep circumference, along with their views on redistribution of wealth and income inequality. The study, published in the Evolution and Human Behavior journal, found that weaker men were more likely to favor socialist policies than stronger men.

  1. I'm against socialism in part bc it scares me. I have my ideas for government's place, but prostrate before distant elite strangers is outside my comfort zone.

I know women etc. seem comfortable entrusting themselves to distant powers or to their husbands, so forth. But I don't like it. I dunno that it's exactly bc I'm so alpha though.

And my sense of caring for others is I want the general citizenry to have wealth, power/rights such that it isn't fully prostrate. I certainly care; I just don't perceive enslavement as love.

The socialist vision of a vulnerable, malleable proletariat is... creepy. They desire man to be as obedient as a dog, even as obedient as a computer, a machine.

We're ruled by faith, tradition, habit, social pressure; They're ruled by secular manipulation and force. It's totally different. Freedom from us is exchanged for total, abject submission and enslavement.

I hope we see additional breakthroughs such as solar, the Internet, 3d printing that help decentralise society, help hinder domination.

  2. It also explains the why of the going attack of the traditional masculine male by the various collectivist types. He scares them. A beta male wimp as represented by "pajama boy", will, let himself be dominated by a mommy type of a woman (SJW, feminist, average liberal woman) who have a need to control others. If you are a weak man (physically and mentally) you have one of two options. You can put in the hard work and effort to become stronger. Hard work demands effort, patience and sacrifice be it getting into shape or learning a new skill set. Or resent those who can do what you will not do, and seek to drag them down to your level. Notice too, the ad is effeminate in tone. The line reads "TALK about getting health insurance", not GET. Talking is a passive activity. A guy who is physically fit is able to more things by himself, without needing to depend on others. Than means he is harder to control. Collectivist hate and resent any one they can not control, they are the enemy. If you are a weak male, of course you are going to approve of any social/political arrangement that will take from some one else and give it to you.
I'd be willing to bet a my next paycheck, pajama boy does NOT own so much as a half dozen tools to his name or even own a pocket knife.

      Indeed.

    2. The Left tend to want big business and big government. And they do indeed thrive in the modern world. We are the ones dying out, not they.

We're akin to the Amerindians, the Celts: Failing to adapt.

The weird worship of capitalism among the Right is not something I share. I would say feudalism and other militaristic orders are more masculine than capitalism. Plenty of worms thrive in our society, in capitalism.

The merchant is honest, only bc it's good for business.
The man of honour is honest out of pride or piety, even if it costs him, the market and profit be damned.
