NJ Sheriff and Former Chief Show Contempt for Oaths with 2nd Amendment Infringements

Extensive quotes from two New Jersey law enforcement officials leave little doubt that they would gladly support any and all citizen disarmament edicts. Opinions expressed by Bergen County Sheriff Michael Saudino and former Tenafly Police Chief Michael Bruno in Monday’s Pascack Press appear representative of predominant command attitudes in the Garden State. (Note the story is not online so there is no link to offer—I was sent a photo of the April 16 page 3 story “Mental health ‘highest priority’ for public, school safety” written by Michael Olohan. I have not received a response from the paper to an inquiry I sent them yesterday. This post will be updated if a link becomes available. )

Sheriff Saudino says it’s “fortunate” that New Jersey has draconian infringements and hopes to see them become a “model” for the rest of the country. And naturally, he repeats the same lie many prominent gun-grabbers offer while they’re doing the direct opposite of what they say.

  1. I lived in Bergen county NJ for years and was a patrolman in a town there the 1960s. Then the "Sheriffs dept." usually had 2 roles. Court guards and warrant servers. The Bergen county police (a different agency then) patrolled the county roads. Some years ago the "sheriffs dept. absorbed the County police dept. (politics in action) and the monster grew. Fortunately I was long gone when this occurred.

The "Sheriff says: “Those weapons are designed to take out mass amounts of people, for the military to use, for the police to use, should they have to..."

If he gets his wish and all the "people" are disarmed then the police won't require the "military style" weapons either. Yea, like that's gonna happen!

At the end of the day it's all about "Control"!

Really. I guess you wouldn't recognize the place now.

    2. Nope, Brock. I haven't been back there in 10 years and don't plan on going anymore. Back in the day when I was on the job the only protection against guns and knives we had was a cotton shirt, a 38 cal Colt police special and set off handcuffs. Looking at the average police officer today with all the armor, tasers, head-gear, jump boots and I see a "Robocop". Remember Robocop the movie?

Yes, though I didn't see it.

  2. Make that power and control...they have become politicians, joined at the hip, with the usual Marxist thuggery of our so called betters.

  3. Someone very powerful wants the entire Human race disarmed. They want it now. But like "generic" says "don't worry be happy! Everything is AWSOME!" "Comrade Trump will save us from the EVIL dimocrats!" "So just feel the joy joy WAY down in your heart". "After all we're winning". The dear leader would never tell the cops to ..you know.. Violate the constitution and confiscate guns, and such a great man would never stage a false flag and violate the war powers act. When a nation gets to the point where it is ruled by a cult of personality it is done as a republic. We are long past the point where a peaceful solution is even possible. --Ray
