I was first thrilled by that speech in about the fall of 1945. My home room class at David Millard Junior High School in Asheville, walked to one of the two main theaters around Pack Square and saw Henry V with Laurence Olivier, who directed and starred and won an Academy Award and made me his fan for life. Twelve year old boys are impressionable. My dad was freshly home from Army hospitals in Dallas and Macon, GA.
