Eric Holder: You Want A Discussion Eh?

Oh, so Eric (Place) Holder thinks we should have a "dignified discussion" on the "mistaken beliefs and stereotypes that serve as the basis for these too-common incidents"?

Which mistaken beliefs are those Eric?

That you have a right to be "respected" and given "deference" on the street?  That is, nobody else has a right to ask you what you're up to or who you are when you are acting in a suspicious manner -- like, for instance, prowling around in a pouring rainstorm?

That you have a right to hit someone who asks you a question because you were "disrespected"? When did that become anything other than a criminal act?

That you have a right to, after hitting someone and knocking them to the ground, to mount them and pound their head into a concrete sidewalk because "one punch isn't enough of a lesson when you're disrespected"?

Or is it a "mistaken belief" that when you are being assaulted in the above fashion that you have every right, morally, ethically and legally to stop that assault using whatever means you have available at your disposal, including the use of lethal force?
You know how you stop these incidents?  It's simple.

  1. The Other McCain and Atlas Shrugged have similar postings. There will not be dialog because the PC narrative will not hold up to the light of day. I suspect the President's injection of himself in the Trayvon narrative was to cement certain factions to him before the last election. Everything is politics to Obama and all of the current events around the trial are a wonderful deflection from the scandals surrounding him and "my people" Holder.
