COURSES

                                                 Operations Security (OPSEC) Course

                                                             Thursday, 8 May 10-6

Course description:

Operations Security (OPSEC) is as old as war itself.  Yet poor OPSEC
continues to cost human lives both in clandestine operations against
hostile adversaries as well as in every day life against irregular
threats like criminals.  What's more is that as the future of Liberty
dims, OPSEC is now of critical importance to Patriots across the nation.

The best way to keep a secret is to deny that a secret exists in the
first place.  Although you're likely unaware, you provide indicators of
your capabilities and intent every day.  And indicators are pieces of a
puzzle waiting to be put together to identify vulnerabilities.

Join Sam Culper as he teaches OPSEC from the Patriot perspective, and
learn how to protect yourselves, your preparations, and your community
from irregular and conventional threats.  Learning objectives include:

- Threat identification.

- Denying information to the threat.

- Masking indicators of friendly activity.

- Disinformation, Deception and other Countermeasures.

- Basic counterintelligence tasks.

- Conducting security assessments.

- Implementing better security.

Course cost: $100

All questions can be directed to Sam Culper @
Guerrilla America

Five copies of Forward Observer Magazine will be donated to the raffle.

FRIDAY MAY 9th 2014

9 – 3

We will host our III CQB “Fight to your Weapon” class.

First-time students can expect the full course.  Returning students will enjoy a thorough refresher, and will have several additional techniques added to the skillset.  We are proud that two of our III 300 Patriots who have taken some Krav Maga since the last PATCON have agreed to help instruct a portion of the class with Sam and Holly to share effective techniques that complement the fundamentals of Fight to your Weapon.

As is the Kerodin CQB Policy: If you have already taken the CQB course, there is no fee for this course.

New student fee: $208 – ½ of all fees will be donated to Brock to help him continue hosting these important and valuable PATCONS.  Please submit any fees due for this course directly to Brock.

We look forward to training with everyone again, and meeting new allies!

GEORGIA FORCE ON FORCE

FRIDAY MAY 9th 2014

3 - 6

Georgia Force On Force   Georgia Force On Force  presents a primer on Small Unit Tactics using airsoft as a training tool.

This short course will move you from static shooting positions to dynamic buddy team movement.

This is the basis for all fire and maneuver. This course is a condensed version of our SUT1 class and will give you a good idea of the utility of airsoft for training. We will train the basic shooting positions shooting from right and left sides and why thats important, dynamic movement and movement under contact.

 You will get shot

Please bring your own sealed eye protection and if you like a face cover. Cost will be $20.00 per student.

Cache, Anyone?

The Resistance in your AO has signaled the need for sustainment supply. Real-time comms are virtually non-existent, so you have to make your best judgment as to what to put into the standard resupply container - a sealed 1 gallon paint can. So as to make the opening and evaluation of your work easier, DO NOT weatherproof your container, but instead simply write out how you would conceal it from prying eyes and weather.

A $5 donation towards PATCON costs will get you entered. Max Velocity will assess each entry, give feedback, and choose the winner, who will receive their choice of either 250 rounds 5.56x45 M193 or 200 rounds of 7.62x51 SA ball.

Think carefully about what you would include and why. What might differ about what you include depending on other circumstances? What other easily obtained and disguised watertight container might you use?

Someday, this exercise may not be a drill...

    1. Hi, Brock!
Got home this evening safe and sound - it's 86 degrees with 76% humidity here in lovely downtown Battle Creek, so NC PATCON was a great training ground to get used to warmer weather for this Yankee gal. I had a wonderful time, and my mental wheels are a'turnin' about next time - some of the ladies were saying how nice it would be to have a break-out session for us, and then you gentlemen could have some guy time alone. Something to think about.

I had so much fun, and for the first time in my life I felt no need to rant at the moon because I was finally among my own kind of people who actually get it. Any Patriot woman who has any doubt about coming to this event, please put your concerns aside and get yourself here to the next one.

Also, I must compliment the parents who brought their children along - I can't say enough good things about how much fun I had dyeing the wool and painting the wheel with your young'uns as well as just talking with them - you are doing a great job raising up fine human beings.

Can't wait to see you all again in October.

Thanks again so much for your hospitality and kindness, Brock - you are wonderful and Dixie is just lovely.

    2. some of the ladies were saying how nice it would be to have a break-out session for us, and then you gentlemen could have some guy time alone. Something to think about.

Not in my opinion, the more girls and children the better. :)

Absolutely and I believe they are all homeschooled.

As are you sweetie. The next time should be better since you will actually be able to spend all the available hours there. :)

    3. When is the October PATCON scheduled? I was definitely hampered in terms of transportation this time, but that will not happen again. )

  53. Brock, thank you again for being a superb host and allowing this event to happen on your family ground. Both my wife and I were overwhelmed with not only the events, but the hospitality shown us.

    Best Regards, Tom & Susan
