Johannesburg - A crowd of people tried to hack meat off cattle after a trailer they were being transported in overturned on the N1 in Gauteng, the NSPCA said on Wednesday.

"With knives and buckets, the mob was chasing cattle that had managed to release themselves from the vehicle, some of which had injuries including broken legs. Their intention was to hack meat from the living animals,"

  3. Wow. Such civility.

I was reading about this type of thing in Spain and other parts of Europe, at least a year ago-2yrs ago. Animals being butchered in the field.

also, cattle rustling is at an all time high in the U.S.

  4. From my read of this situation, it sounds like an ambush; the truck overturned because of people on an overpass throwing rocks at the cab of the truck, causing the driver to loose control.
Lots of overpasses on busy highways in ghetto country...

The same thing is going to happen here. Turn off the Free Shit Army Spigot and all hell will break loose. I'm not really sure what is holding everyone's civility back.
I was in the supermarket the other day pre-snowpacalypse and all eyes were rolling and looking at each other with nasty looks when the woman holding up the line took out her "benefits" card wasn't working.
